Who We Are
Founded in 2015, the Jewish Genealogical Society of Brooklyn is a not-for-profit organization with the goal to collect, preserve and disseminate knowledge and information regarding Jewish genealogy.
We Are Brooklyn
The Society is located in the most uniquely Jewish city in the United States. No other city has the diversity and volume of Jewish people that can be found in Brooklyn. The Society extends an offer of membership to the entire eclectic mix of people in Brooklyn interested in researching their Jewish ancestry. Join together for a shared, common interest. The Society encourages and supports diversity. Bring your diversity to a Society meeting and share it with others that have a like-minded interest in genealogy. All those with an open-mind and an open-heart are welcome.
